As part of this year's All Rockets Read Program (ARR), the 4th and 5th graders visited the Packer Museum in Anna and the Anna Public Library on October 26th to learn about Lois Lenski. Lenski was a Newbery Medal-winning author and illustrator of picture books and children's literature who spent her childhood life in Anna. This year's ARR theme is "Reading Gets Real". What better way for our students to learn about a real-life author from their hometown!
