Spelling Bee

Two students proudly represented our district at the Regional Spelling Bee after dedicating months to preparation and practice.

Zaila Yahl from Anna Elementary School and Ruby Beckman from Anna Middle School spent countless hours studying and practicing the extensive regional spelling study guide. Their commitment and determination were evident as they competed alongside other strong spellers from across the region.

The competition featured many challenging words. Zaila’s round ended on the word “jankers,” while Ruby’s round concluded with the word “asylum.” Both words proved to be quite difficult, highlighting the high level of competition at the event.

Zaila and Ruby represented our schools with perseverance and confidence. Their hard work and willingness to step up and compete made them wonderful ambassadors for our school community.
