The Anna Local School Board of Education is pleased to announce Cory Ahrens as the Middle School Principal.
Mr. Ahrens earned his Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Toledo, a Master of Science in Teaching from Wright State University, and his Principal Licensure from the University of Dayton.
Mr. Ahrens began his career in education as a classroom teacher, serving students in fourth, fifth, and sixth grades, as well as physical education, for ten years. He then spent two years as Dean of Students at St. Marys Middle School before joining Celina City Schools, where he has served as an elementary principal for the past 13 years.
Throughout his career, Mr. Ahrens has demonstrated a strong commitment to student success, instructional excellence, and building positive relationships with students, staff, families, and the community. His collaborative leadership style, dedication to fostering a positive school culture, and extensive administrative experience make him an outstanding addition to the Anna Local Schools.
We are excited to welcome Mr. Ahrens to the Anna Local Schools family. His proven leadership, passion for education, and commitment to creating positive learning environments will serve our middle school students, staff, and families well.
Mr. Ahrens will officially assume his duties as Anna Middle School Principal on August 1, 2026. The Anna Local Schools Board of Education looks forward to the positive impact he will have as he leads Anna Middle School into the future.
