We’re Off to a Fantastic Start in Sixth Grade!
The school year is off to a wonderful start in sixth grade, and we’re thrilled to share that our incentive program is already making a positive impact! The goal of this program is to inspire students to become enthusiastic about their education while encouraging them to grow into responsible, caring, and successful young adults.
Each grading term, all sixth-grade students are eligible to participate in our Incentive Program. To qualify, students must have no detentions and no F’s during the grading period. We’re excited to report that 68 out of our 78 students met the criteria for the first term — an outstanding achievement!
To celebrate their hard work and dedication, we took our incentive qualifiers on an exciting field trip on September 25, 2025, to Vandemark Farms and the “Lost Land Corn Maze” in Sidney. Students had a blast navigating the maze using teamwork, problem-solving skills, and a bit of luck! The fun didn’t stop there — they also enjoyed a hayride, 18 holes of mini golf, a giant corn pit, and time to relax and bond with friends. It was a day full of laughter, learning, and lasting memories.
Through this program, we aim to motivate all students to always strive for their personal best. Even if a student doesn't qualify during one term, each new grading period brings a fresh opportunity to improve habits and work toward the next incentive reward.
We, the sixth-grade teaching team, are so proud of our students and excited for what the rest of the year holds. We look forward to continuing the momentum of this program and celebrating more student success in the coming months!
