Anna Local Schools Announces Joel Staudter as Next Superintendent

The Anna Local Schools Board of Education is pleased to announce the appointment of Joel Staudter as the district’s next Superintendent.

Mr. Staudter has served as Anna High School Principal for the past 11 years, where he has demonstrated strong leadership, a commitment to student success, and a dedication to the Anna community. Under his leadership, Anna High School has maintained a tradition of academic excellence while continuing to grow opportunities for students.

Prior to his time at Anna, Mr. Staudter held several administrative roles at Ohio Hi-Point Career Center, gaining valuable experience in career and technical education. He began his career in education as a special education teacher at Graham High School.

Mr. Staudter earned his bachelor’s degree from Bowling Green State University and his master’s degree from the University of Dayton.

“Joel has been an integral part of our district’s success for many years,” said Board President Mike Ambos. “His leadership, vision, and deep understanding of our schools and community make him an excellent choice to lead the Anna Local Schools into the future.”

Mr. Staudter shared his enthusiasm for the new role, stating, “It is an honor to serve the Anna community in this capacity. I look forward to continuing to work with our outstanding students, staff, and families to build on the strong foundation that makes the Anna Schools so special.”

Mr. Staudter and his wife, Kelly, who serves as an elementary school guidance counselor in the district, are proud parents of three daughters: Elizabeth, a first-year student at the University of Findlay; Allison, an 11th-grade student at Anna High School; and Abigail, a 9th-grade student at Anna High School.

Mr. Staudter will officially assume the role of Superintendent on June 1.
