Mr. Purtee has served as Anna Middle School Principal for the past six years, consistently demonstrating strong leadership, a commitment to student achievement, and a passion for supporting students, staff, and families.
Throughout his time at Anna, Mr. Purtee has built strong relationships with students, staff, and families while fostering a positive school culture focused on growth, achievement, and student well-being. His dedication to students and ability to connect with others have made a lasting impact on the school community.
We are excited for Mr. Purtee to begin this new role and are confident that his leadership and passion for education will continue to positively impact Anna High School and our entire school community.

The 4th grade had a great day at Tawawa Park fishing and learning about clean water from the Shelby County Soil and Water Conservation Department. Thanks to the Shelby County Historical Society for tractor rides and coordinating the day.
