First graders learned how to barter last week with items made in the classroom.
The high school Digital Interactive Media class partnered with the Elementary library to foster intergenerational learning and a love of reading. Media students created custom Tonies, preloaded with audio recordings of books and songs they produced as part of a culminating project. These interactive gifts were presented to the Elementary library, along with a book-sharing session with the kindergarten class.
First Grade enjoyed a performance of The Snow Queen at The Ohio State University in Lima.
