Congratulations to the Anna Local Schools students whose artwork is currently on display at the Sidney Public Library’s Youth Art Month exhibit! The artwork will be featured from March 2 through March 27 and includes pieces from schools across Shelby County.

We are incredibly proud of our students for representing Anna with such creativity and talent. A special thank you to Mrs. Swiger and Ms. Link for their dedication to showcasing our students’ artistic abilities and for helping make this opportunity possible.

Recently, 6 of our 8th graders competed in the Trade Skills Ninja Challenge sponsored by the Workforce Partnership and Upper Valley Career Center.

Anna High School Presents “Night of One Acts”

Anna High School will present its annual Night of One Acts on Thursday and Saturday at 7 p.m. in the Milliette Auditorium. Tickets are $8 at the door, and seating is general admission on a first-come, first-served basis.

This year’s productions include Crisis Inc., directed by Sam Baldonado; Loonies and Snatchers, directed by Emily Sharp; and Just Another High School Play, directed by Brock Swiger.

The community is invited to attend and support these talented student directors and performers.

Come to The Anna District Art Show on Saturday, May 10th from 1:00-4:00 PM at Anna Elementary School. Complete the scavenger hunt to be entered to win an art supply basket. First 20 students will receive a free book.

Congratulations to the 7th Grade ELA award winners at last night’s event at the Anna Historical Society. And a big thank you to Mrs. Stutsman for leading the project!
